I made the journal cover this afternoon adding a vintage button as the flower centre and the pin cushion is just made up of scraps left over from other projects.I filled it with seeds from a heat cushion i no longer use.It gives the cushion just the right amount of weight.

These are the first pages of an art journal i hope to complete over the coming months.Im also hoping to finish lots of unfinished bits and bobs and try some new projects too.

Bought these chairs in an auction room,re- upholstered them,not perfectly! And heres the end result...perfect for the end of the kitchen.

some bits and pieces from the last few weeks.The fall in love with love piece is made from scraps ,piece of hand made paper ,buttons and keys(i think theyre from an old diary!).

The burlap cushion.....sort of on the valentines time like the previous piece also,is recycled from a peanut sack and fabric i bought from Noeks in The Netherlands.

And the rolled paper on canvas is my second attempt at this idea...it takes a long time to make and lots of glue but it looks good!
